Wattics collaborates with GBRI to promote green building design principles and practices globally

Dublin, 3 September 2020—Wattics energy management has partnered with the Green Building Research Institute (GBRI), a research institute and education provider to promote and distribute educational resources pertaining to green building design, construction, operation and certification. The organisation offers comprehensive online courses and training materials for those seeking to qualify as a LEED or WELL accredited professionals, as well as those that seasoned sustainability professionals, looking to build upon their existing knowledge and skills. GBRI is an independently owned organization and education partner of the USGBC, the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Through its partnership with Wattics, GBRI is offering Continuing Education (CE) credits for Wattics courses (webinars) listed on its website, enabling certified green building & sustainability professionals to meet the continuing education requirements for Credential Maintenance (LEED).

To the partnership, Wattics brings specialised knowledge in machine-learning energy analytics, energy management & performance, energy efficiency and demand management; technologies and concepts that are synonymous with green buildings. Wattics is dedicated to the curation of thought-leading content in the form of in-depth articles, case studies, videos, and webinars that provide practical insights into real-world projects, and showcase innovation in green building, energy performance management & efficiency.

How do I earn CE credit offered through GBRI?

In order to earn CE credit, all you need to do it watch the presentation(s) below (or on the GBRI Learning Hub Portal by clicking the ‘Click this button to go to CE credit quiz’ link”) and complete the corresponding quiz. Please note in order to complete your quiz or watch the presentation on the Learning Hub Portal you will need to create a FREE account. If you wish to have your hours automatically reported to USGBC and/or AIA please go to the account section of the portal prior to completing your quiz to update your reporting information. A certificate of completion will be issued immediately after passing your quiz, if you wish to self-report your hours you can use the information in your certificate to do so.

*Note: all of the courses below are approved by USGBC & AIA. Each course offers 1 LEED General Hour & 1 AIA HSW LU credit.
