Wattics client, Clonarn Cover, becomes verified member of origin green

Wattics Ltd. is delighted to announce the new ‘Origin Green’ verified member status which has been achieved by our client, Clonarn Clover. Origin Green is an independently verified sustainability initiative spear-headed by Bord Bia, which allows Irish farmers and producers to set and achieve measurable sustainability targets. Operating on a national scale, Origin Green is the only programme of its kind in the world.

In order to achieve their Origin Green status, Clonarn Clover sought a number of methods by which they could enhance their sustainability profile over the next number of years. By targeting improvements in energy efficiency, they were not only meeting one of their primary targets for sustainability but they were also able to reduce their operational costs. By engaging with Wattics & installing our energy management solution, they were able to actively monitor and target their energy consumption. With the help of Wattics’ unique Sentinel analytics, they were able to pinpoint and target particular equipment which had been responsible for energy wastage.
