Wattics energy management software has been chosen as the runner-up in the Product & Services Award category of the IBEC Environment Awards 2013.
With the calibre of this year’s entries being extremely high – and 50 companies from across all sectors of industry contributing high-quality entries – the judges had a difficult task in choosing the winner and runner-up in each category. The judges commented that they were “greatly encouraged to learn about the innovative projects being undertaken by Irish businesses wishing to operate in a more resource-efficient and sustainable manner.”
Wattics entry, the Disaggregation of Electricity using Software, was deemed to be a very prudent operation, with marks awarded for factors such as innovation, environmental benefit, social benefit, economic benefit, commitment, as well as replication potential.
Wattics will attend the awards ceremony on November 29th, which will take place at IBEC on Baggot Street in Dublin.
