Google Drive folders and PDF documents are a great way to share information between many people at once, making them a powerful tool to engage with customers and provide them with insights, energy efficiency tips, utility bills and more.
Making this information available directly on your users’ dashboard can add even more value, as having everything in one place can help the customer make a sense of the data and information shared with him/her.
In order to make this possible please follow the steps below to embed your Google Drive folders and documents respectively:
If you would like to embed a Google Drive folder, follow the 3-step process below:
Step 1.
Get the public URL of the folder. This might look light like this:
https://drive.google.com///#folders/unX9VBU8x9m66klrJdZv
Copy the folder ID, that’s the last bit of the URL (in bold above), in this example: unX9VBU8x9m66rJdZv.
Step 2.
Paste your folder ID to the URL below where the text, “YOURID” is located in the URL. Be sure to not add spaces or alter the text in anyway:
https://drive.google.com/embeddedfolderview?id=YOURID#list
Step 3.
Copy and paste this URL in the embedded page tool to add it to the dashboard(s) of user(s) of your choice
If you would like to embed a Google Drive PDF document, follow the 3-step process below:

Select the PDF file you want to embed. Right click on the document and select “Preview”
